Gypsy Soul Tote

The only negative I have is that I wish the internal zipper bag had more structure. I love this bag, and I want more fun colors pretty please with sugar on top! I also like that the inside color matches. It is also a great size. Not to big, and not to small.

I bought this bag in April 2023. I purchased the 2-oil wax brown. I've used this bag every day since I started a new job that required me to bring my laptop home daily. It came with a shoulder strap, but I never put it on, I use the handles over the shoulder, I find they are long enough to be comfortable even with a coat on. The bag stands well on its own, but has developed a lean - it leans away from the laptop side. I think this may be because I don't keep too much on the other side.

Exterior: The bag has a slip pocket in the front and a zipped pocket in the back. Because the material is stiff (that's what I wanted) I don't put bulky things in these pockets, if I needed to I would be fine putting my phone in one of them, but I try to always have pockets. I think the material and handles have held up well, metal buckles are still in original condition. The extra end bits of the handles are slightly curled from use. There's no fray on the handles, a few minor scratches and scuffs on the bottom and front and back of the bag. The top zipper is sturdy and goes almost end-to-end. I like that the brand is very subtle.

Interior: My 15" Dell laptop fits perfectly in the designated padded sleeve. Actually, I guess it's a little loose, the velcro strap to hold it in place is probably a little too long and the space is a little wider than I need, but that doesn't bother me. The other section has a large zippered pocket and 2 open pockets with 2 pen slips. The pen slips are open at the bottom, so your pen will slide through it if doesn't have a clip part to hold it there. The open space has plenty of room for a padfolio or files, you can even fit a smaller water bottle (one in pic is 18 oz) if you want.

Overall - I think this was a great purchase, I've gotten several compliments and I feel professional carrying this bag. I've used it daily for almost 2 years now and I think it still looks great.

Beautiful thick leather with that seductive smell. The bag is well constructed and the insert works well for organization. Want dot keep but the color is a bit lighter that I wanted. Still recommend
